Enhanced safety measures for K-12 schools

Enhanced safety measures and $121.2 million in federal funding are on the way, as the Province continues to strengthen health and safety plans in K-12 schools to keep students, teachers and staff safe during the pandemic.

All middle and secondary students and K-12 staff will now be required to wear non-medical masks in all indoor areas, including when they are with their learning groups. The only exceptions are when:

Bradner's New Mural

Bradner has a new mural to show off! As a part of a collaborative project with Rick Hansen Secondary Students, our lower hallway area is looking a little spiffier! The students volunteered their time in exchange for leadership hours, and put together a beautiful piece of art that showcases 5 of our local peaks. Mt. Baker, Mt. Slesse, Mt. Cheam, Vedder Mountain and Sumas Mountain. Thank you so much to students Joe, Marisa, Laura, Inder and Hansen teachers Ms. Harasemow and Ms. Muller for your vision and hard work!

The Abbotsford Board of Education regularly meets throughout the school year. Agendas and minutes from the public Board Meetings can be accessed through the District's Electronic School Board. Below is a summary of highlights from the meeting. To do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for everyone's safety, all public meetings of the Abbotsford Board of Education will be closed to the public and held virtually until further notice. The meetings will also be live-streamed.
