Food & Toy Drive - Dec 1-15th
HELP DECORATE THE FOODBANK TREE – between December 1st – 15th
Help us decorate our Christmas Tree. For every non-perishable donation that a student brings for the Abbotsford Food Bank, they will get a bulb to hang on the Food Bank Christmas Tree. Each bulb will be entered into a draw to win one of the Prizes that will be displayed in the Front Entrance.
The Bulbs will be in your House Team colours. The House Team with the most bulbs will win a special treat on the last day before the Christmas Break.
Let’s see how many bulbs we can fit on the tree!!
Food & Toy Drive
Well, ‘tis the Season for Christmas Food and Toy Drives! Once again Bradner Elementary will be collecting nonperishable food items to be donated to the Abbotsford Food Bank and Christmas Bureau.
Christmas is the busiest time of the year at the Food Bank. By helping to collect food and toys this holiday season, you are not only helping to ensure that shelves are stocked for Christmas, but you are giving hundreds of families in this community, the opportunity to participate in the joys of the season that they might not otherwise have.
Please bring all food donations to the school between December 1st – 15th and drop off in the large barrels by the office.
Here are some suggestions:
Cereal, jam, peanut butter, margarine, apple juice, macaroni & cheese, crackers, cookies, tuna or salmon, cans of soup, cans vegetables, dry pasta, pasta sauce, stove top stuffing, cranberry sauce, tea or coffee or hot chocolate, pancake mix.
