The Bradner Reflection Project

Hello Bradner Students and Families!

We have all navigated 3 weeks of remote learning now, and the learning curve has been steep for all of us. This week, we thought it might be a good time to pause, and think back about all the things you have learned while staying home. Many of you have already sent me photos and videos of some of the fun and interesting things you have been doing.  We see opportunity here! In many ways, you have become more in charge of your own learning than you ever were in the classroom. It is up to you to complete the work and post it, but it is also up to you to fill a lot of extra time in your day, and to engage in your learning in a way that is meaningful to you.  That is so much easier, when you are doing something you like and you are interested in. So this week we are focussing on the "Brader Reflection Project". We want you to pick a topic....it can be a skill, activity or idea that you have really enjoyed in April, and learn more about it, or practice and get better at it! Your teachers may send out some additional literacy and numeracy activities in their weekly menu, if you need more to do, but we are hoping everyone will focus first on this project this week. Make sure to connect with your teachers, share your ideas, and I can't wait to see some of the finished projects.   To inspire you, Mrs. Thurmer made this video montage of all the learning she has been doing this past month!  Have a great week!

Mrs. Jordan
