April Update and Reminders

Greetings Bradner Families!

With both Spring Break and the Easter weekend behind us, staff and students are fully engaging in our spring term. The weather is lovely and we are able to spend more time learning outdoors. The sunshine is so uplifting!  From reading and writing in the shade of our beautiful trees to exploring along the greenbelt and playing and building in the sand pits, teachers are finding creative ways to dig into the curriculum and enjoy the fresh air at the same time. We have a few short weeks left and we are making every effort to ensure our little school stays safe and healthy! Thank you so much to all of you who have supported us this far through what has been quite a different year. In spite of it all, we have been remarkably successful and students have made terrific gains in so many ways. Our building is a happy, thriving, busy place, where smiles abound and both students and staff feel happy and productive. Again, thank you for your support with all the changes and limitations that have occured. In spite of the many pieces of the school year that we have had to give up, we truly feel that we have had a great year. All that being said, we are not quite done yet, and these last few weeks are ones we truly want to be able to experience together in our school building. To that end, teachers are reminding students about handwashing throughout the day, and we are reemphasizing the importance of keeping some space whenever possible. Our staggered start and end to the day continues to be very important...thank you so much with your efforts to make that work! Personal toys should stay at home and food is not being shared. Our staff is doing all it can to keep high touch surfaces clean and disinfected, and all students in grade 4 and 5, as well as all staff are required to wear masks when in the building. District information regarding covid protocols and mask requirements is available at and you can speak with your child's teacher or myself if you have any questions or concerns about anything.

We've got this! What a pleasure to be working with such an amazing community! Thank you,

Mrs. Jordan
